Health Junkie has got you covered! Introducing, our new High-Protein Diet menu crafted especially for athletes and highly active people. All the power dishes in our menu are filled with the richness of proteins.

There is always a question about the intake of proteins like when to consume it, how much to consume, and what type is best, especially for athletes and highly active people. Guess what? Health junkie has come up with a special menu consisting of high protein foods combined with healthy ingredients to create nutritious meal options for you.

Did you know that athletes have a higher daily protein requirement than sedentary people? Well, yes! It is extremely important to have a proper diet for them to maintain adequate energy during physical activity and for post-activity recovery.

Actually, protein can do magic! It can rebuild our muscles which usually tend to weaken or break down as a result of intense exercise, isn’t it amazing?

Let’s dig in more into biology!

For increasing the strength of athletes, it is recommendable to consume around 1.2-2.0g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. Moreover, the timing of protein consumption also plays an important part in the recovery period after training for athletes. Now, between 30minutes and 2 hours after training, it is recommended to consume 15-25g of protein alongside some carbohydrate.
