For increasing the strength of athletes, it is recommendable to consume around 1.2-2.0g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. Moreover, the timing of protein consumption also plays an important part in the recovery period after training for athletes. Now, between 30minutes and 2 hours after training, it is recommended to consume 15-25g of protein alongside some carbohydrate.
